Hi, Interwebs.

Someone needs to hear this tonight.

Not sure who.

Show it to them for me?

Love, C.

From the other Carolyn, who is pretty fucking amazing indeed.

"If you are one of the many sensitive souls experiencing an unusual level of anxiety right now, know that you are not alone. This too shall pass. Breathe. Be here now. I love you."

So they say they've found the "God Particle" and a twin earth.
I really should have some thought on these two things, some original opinion that is all my own.
I don't though.
The only thing I can manage to think is "What would Virginia Woolf say?"

A friend of mine just posted this as her facebook status:

I have so much going on in my life right now... I need a blessing and can't afford to not pay it forward ... so here ya go ... Hey you...yeah, I mean you. If you have taken a minute to read this.. God has seen YOU struggling with something. God says its over. A blessing is coming your way. If you believe in God send this message on, please don't ignore it, you are being tested. God is going to fix two things (BIG) tonight in your favor. If you believe in God...drop everything and re-post it. I just did, Amen..

I always wonder how the powers-that-be work.  Are they into social media these days?  I kind of hope so.

Well, anyhow.  Here you go, God-Goddess-Universe-Powers-that-Be(the good ones)-Big Help.  Thanks for existing.  It's appreciated.

Pete Seeger went out to NYC at 92 years old to march and sing with the Occupy Wall St. protestors. Just read the Huffington Post article about it and am now sitting here like a teary-eyed fool. How I adore Pete!!

Something I am tired of:
Coming home to douse my head in vinegar because of another lice outbreak.

Something I am grateful for:
Being able to be tired of having to douse my head in vinegar because of another lice outbreak.

I have one thousand and two questions about one thousand and two things these days. I am guarded. This makes answers hard to come by.

Dream well.
Goodnight.

Extra wishes.
9 times out of 10 you will need them, even if it's only to give them away....

Spent the afternoon huddled with the kiddos in the school basement.
Went home in between the tornado/storm skirmishes.
There were no flying monkeys.
Am sorely disappointed by this, but am very grateful to have in-tact family, friends and house.
May they always stay that way.

Sweet dreams.

Love, C.

It's been raining for days and days and days.
Everything is green and blooming.
There are puddles.
The air smells like lilacs.
It makes me miss Seattle, though I did not see any lilacs there.
My heart is embedded between Wachusett and Monadnock....
but perhaps tonight I'll dream of Mt. Rainier?
Did I even spell that right?
I suppose it doesn't much matter....spelling rarely seems to matter in terms of dream settings.
Oh, other half of the country....we have so much catching up to do.
Catching up tidbit number one: yes, I do think unicorns are real.
Catching up tidbit number two: I wonder how Portland will find me.
Love, C.

"I ask for the movement to continue, for the movement to grow, because last week I got a phone call from Altoona, Pennsylvania, and my election gave somebody else, one more person, hope. And after all, that's what this is all about. It's not about personal gain, not about ego, not about power — it's about giving those young people out there in the Altoona, Pennsylvanias, hope. You gotta give them hope."

Dear Harvey,

I thought of you yesterday because the world was supposed to start ending, and there were supposed to be zombies.  I know that you fluttered off into the sunset via the Pacific, but I was hoping that maybe -- just maybe -- if there really *were* zombies, I'd get to meet you.  I'd like to think that I might at least have gotten a couple words of thanks out before you tried to eat my brain.

In any case, Happy Birthday, friend.  Still here.  Still working on it.  Don't worry.  But if you have any sage advice....could you let me know?  Thanks.

Love, C.
